Hajj and Umrah are among the holiest acts of worship in Islam, where Muslims from around the world journey to Makkah to perform these sacred rituals, seeking Allah’s pleasure and spiritual purification. Umrah: A Sacred Pilgrimage Ruling: A highly recommended Sunnah, performable anytime. Rituals: Consist of Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, and shaving/cutting hair. Virtue: Expiation of sins, as the Prophet ﷺ said: “One Umrah to another is an expiation for what is between them” (Bukhari & Muslim).
